Taking it apart
The steering and wheel position sense mechanisms were badly damaged by our encounter with the K barrier. We had to disassemble bits and because we were not allowed to weld on-site, go off-site to finish repairs.
Putting it back together
Bright and early the next day we reassembled things so we could return to the track for further attempts.
Say goodbye to the front left quarter-panel
This thing was only going to get in the way.
