Run Number Three
Preparing for another attempt
Having recovered from the crash at the end of the second attempt, repaired the vehicle, improved the software, and now setup to capture our progress on video tape (how quaint!) it was time for run number three.
Is there a Crowd Pleaser Award?
Our third attempt got off to a solid start, leaving the gate, avoiding the obstacles in front of the stands, and heading up the hill. Unfortunately our tolerance for “hitting” waypoints was a bit too tight and at the bottom of the hill the vehicle entered a tight turn and drive in circles until we were E-STOPed. This was not a successful run, but it got an impressive reaction from the spectators.
