In late 2021 I was getting sick of my assortment of mismatched and variable stable work surfaces in my home office and decided to replace them with a set of identical heavier-duty desk-height benches from BenchPro.

At the same time I added a pair of new 24" 1080p displays as secondary monitors for the Linux workstation and Windows gaming box in the corner of the “L”, and upgraded the camera I was using for video conferencing.
